Within this framework, as the Data Controller under KVKK, we would like to inform you that the personal data you share with our company as a consumer, customer, supplier, intern, employee, visitor, or in collaboration with us, or as employees, shareholders, and representatives of institutions, may be processed in accordance with KVKK principles, relevant to our activities and services, and proportionate to the purpose of processing.

Our company takes the necessary technical and administrative measures to prevent unlawful processing, unauthorized access, and to ensure the security of personal data in compliance with applicable legislation, and conducts or commissions audits as needed.

Identification data: Name, surname, gender, date of birth, Turkish ID number or tax number for sole proprietorships

Contact data: Phone number, full address, email

Physical security: Security camera recordings in stores, ID verification at entry

Transaction security data: IP address, country of connection, web browser information on our website

Marketing data: Personal data shared by the customer during complaints, number of complaints, delayed response count, preferred payment type during purchases, personal data processed for campaigns related to our products and services, subscription/newsletter/communication permissions under electronic communications law, shopping frequency, cookie records

LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA PROCESSING

Your personal data will be processed in compliance with the following principles:

To conduct customer satisfaction surveys to improve service quality,

To track, regulate, and improve customer experience and demands,

To provide benefits to customers in current and future campaigns and communicate accordingly,

To segment customers and prepare special offers for each segment,

To ensure eligible customers can benefit from campaign rewards and send gifts to segmented groups,

To participate in advertising, promotion, social responsibility projects, interviews, video/photo shooting, sponsorship, and events,

To answer pre-membership/subscription questions via social media, call centers, and share requested information while performing necessary calculations,

To update or modify personal data upon customer request,

To promote products/services, inform, advertise, run campaigns, provide pricing and benefits, determine and measure strategy, and analyze consumer preferences,

To maintain log records and track internet habits via cookies under Law No. 5651.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data listed in Article 2 of this text may be transferred to third parties only under the exceptions specified in KVKK Articles 5/2 (a, c, ç, e, f) and 8/2, limited to cases required by law, contractual performance, fulfillment of legal obligations, establishment/exercise of a right, or legitimate interest of the data controller;

To fulfill our legal obligations, personal data may be shared with relevant institutions such as the Personal Data Protection Authority, Tax Office, banks, law enforcement, courts, municipalities, judiciary, and other public institutions as required by law.

For potential litigation, personal data may be shared with our lawyers and judicial authorities.

Data may also be shared with third parties, such as SMS/email service providers, consultants, auditing companies, service providers in the design sector, authorized dealers, subsidiaries, main shareholders and affiliated companies, translation service providers, courier companies, social media service providers, and other partners as required to provide services and run campaigns.

Technical and administrative infrastructure providers and third parties managing our electronic systems (including website development and maintenance) may have access to personal data as necessary.

METHODS AND LEGAL REASONS FOR PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION

We collect your personal data through:

a) Electronic systems, including forms filled on our website, security cameras in our stores, third parties providing services or partnerships, call centers, social media accounts, website cookies, emails, surveys, contests, and through courts and public authorities,

b) Legal documents and notifications provided to fulfill our legal obligations,

c) Workplace cameras for security and legitimate interest purposes,

d) Voice recordings to train employees for effective customer support,

The legal basis for processing your personal data is the exceptions listed in KVKK Articles 5/2 (a, c, ç, e, f), and when not applicable, explicit consent under Article 5/1.

RIGHTS OF PERSONAL DATA OWNERS UNDER ARTICLE 11 OF KVKK

You can submit your requests regarding your rights at www.dener.com. Our company will respond free of charge within 30 days, except in cases requiring additional costs according to the Personal Data Protection Authority fee schedule. Your rights under Article 11 of KVKK include:

  • To learn whether personal data is processed,
  • To request information if personal data has been processed,
  • To request details if personal data has been processed,
  • To learn the purpose of processing and whether personal data is used accordingly,
  • To know the third parties in Turkey or abroad to whom personal data is transferred,
  • To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data and notify third parties to whom the data was transferred,
  • To request deletion or destruction of personal data when reasons for processing no longer exist, and notify third parties to whom the data was transferred,
  • To object to automatic processing that may result in negative consequences for the individual,
  • To request compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing of personal data.
